I started the race very good and I was second behind Joshua Dubois on the first steep ascent. After that Joshua Dubois tried to get away and I rode with him a lap with a temporary advantage at the lead.
Afterwards the persecutors pushed themselves again towards us. I didn't get my best day and had to divide my power a bit. Every lap I fought myself up the steep climbs. In the end I almost caught up with Milan Vader. However, I had to settle for sixth place at the finish.
